This policy describes how the IP DEV LLC Accounting Integration (the “Software”) handles data. The Software is a private internal application operated by IP DEV LLC (“IP DEV”) that reads IP DEV’s own accounting records from QuickBooks Online.
The Software has no public users and no customers. It is used only by IP DEV and its authorized personnel, against IP DEV’s own QuickBooks Online company. We do not collect information from members of the public, and the Software has no registration, sign-up, or account-creation function.
Through Intuit’s Accounting API, under the
com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting scope, the Software retrieves:

Access is read-only. The Software issues retrieval requests only and cannot create, modify, or delete anything in QuickBooks Online. It does not access payroll records, bank login credentials, or payment card data.
Solely for IP DEV’s internal accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax preparation. The data is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics products, model training, or any purpose unrelated to IP DEV’s own books.
Retrieved data is processed on IP DEV-controlled systems and, where retained, is stored on IP DEV-controlled storage. OAuth tokens are stored in a local credential file readable only by the operating system account running the Software, excluded from version control. Data is transmitted only between IP DEV systems and Intuit’s API endpoints, over TLS.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share data retrieved through the Software. It is not disclosed to third parties, with two ordinary exceptions: it may be shared with IP DEV’s own accountants or tax preparers acting on IP DEV’s behalf and bound by professional confidentiality obligations, and it may be disclosed where required by law or valid legal process.
Financial data is retained for as long as IP DEV’s ordinary business and statutory record-keeping obligations require, then deleted. OAuth tokens are retained only while the integration is connected; revoking the integration from the Intuit account invalidates them, and the local token file may be deleted at any time.
Credentials and tokens are kept outside source control and outside shared storage. All API traffic uses TLS. Access to the systems running the Software is limited to IP DEV’s authorized personnel. No system is perfectly secure, and we make no guarantee of absolute security.
Because the Software processes only IP DEV’s own company data and has no external users, there are no individual user accounts to manage. Authorization can be withdrawn at any time from the Intuit account’s connected-apps settings, which immediately ends the Software’s access.
The Software is a business accounting tool. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly process data relating to them.
